Being a working mom may not be that easy.  You have to do a lot of things like cooking breakfast, bringing the kids to school, then go to work and go back home to, again, attend to your family’s needs.  Here are some tips on how you can do all these things with grace:

* View the situation in a positive way.  It may sound trivial but it works.  Tell yourself that you can handle the situation and be able to take on every challenge.

* Take baby steps.  One thing at a time.  Think of the things that you can already do like preparing your kids’ clothes the night before or not wiping the kitchen floor if you are already stressed out.

* Don’t blame yourself when you fail to or forgot to do something.  It may be a normal reaction to feel guilty but it is not going to help in any way.  Instead, try to do something about it.  If you forgot about your kid’s play at school, try to make up for it by cooking a special dinner or arranging a weekend trip.

* Take care of yourself.  Exercise, proper diet, and enough sleep well.  This will help you cope in stressful situations.  Find quick ways to relieve stress.  Deep abdominal breathing will definitely help.
