I’ve been wanting the iPad since it’s first launch last year, but I’m not sure if it is practical to get one back then. I just purchased a new laptop last year and buying an iPad will surely burn my pockets. But this year, I tried spending less and fortunately I was able to save some extra money. I was saving to buy something special for my birthday and since my birthday is coming, I think this is the best time to buy myself an iPad 2. I was thinking of buying the 32GB with 3G or the 64GB without 3G, I’m not sure if I really need the 3G. It will probably cost me $800 including some accessories.

I use to dream of becoming a scientist. I find it really cool to discover new things like our famous inventors - Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Galileo, Leonardo da Vinci, and a lot more. I use to have so much thirst for knowledge that I began reading science books. I read about how the earth was formed. I read about the dinosaurs. I read about the originally nine planets which has now become 11, including Ceres and Eris. I also read about the different laboratory equipment - the peltier cooler, test tubes, microscopes, and a lot more. I watched science fiction movies, believed in Star Trek, Star Wars and ET.

As a child, exploring things and learning new things can be fun. I really enjoyed playing with science. I love it when I felt that I get to discover an answer to my playmates or classmates questions. I feel so smart and it makes me proud. I may not remember all the things I learned before, but I know that the mind should be fed even when you are an adult. Reading, watching and doing new things helps the mind grow - not in terms of mass or size but in terms of knowledge and content.

I just bought a new desktop, one with a higher memory and specs than my laptop. Of course, it does not mean that I will leave my laptop behind and begin working on my laptop. I only intend to use it for my rather heavier graphic works and file storage. It is easier to work on graphics when you have a bigger monitor and perhaps, more “breathing space”. Yet, working in front of the desktop for long hours can be tiring so I needed to buy a keyboard drawer with an ergonomically designed computer table. I also bought a great computer chair…. I love the chair, if I must say. It is the type that makes you feel successful and comfortable when you sit on it.

Well, I guess I can also use my desktop for entertainment. Just pimp it up with really nice speakers, it can match the resolution of an LCD Television - serves as my home entertainment system right in my workspace. What can be more rewarding than watching a good movie after a long days work and eating some popcorns or your favorite ice cream (just don’t let the ice cream drip on your keyboard).

Among the most popular games for Xbox 360 is Halo 3.  Halo 3 is perhaps, the best Xbox 360 game to date.  It is a single-player, first person shooter video game with cutting-edge technology.  Halo 3 is the 3rd title in the Halo series.  The game features new vehicles, weapons, and gameplay features that are not present in the previous titles of the series.  The game is about the interstellar war between humans and a collection of the alien races in the 26th century.  The alien races are known as the Covenant.  The player assumes the role of Master Chief, a cybernetically enhanced supersoldier, waging war to protect humanity.

Another popular Xbox game is Need for Speed ProStreet.  This is actually my personal favorite.  ProStreet, unlike the other Need for Speed game, focuses more on realism and move closer to racing simulation.  It also features next-generation graphics for more photo-realistic feel and more advanced physics.

For NBA fans, NBA Live 08 is definitely the favorite.  NBA Live 08 is the 2007 edition of the NBA Live series.  It features Quickstrike Ballhandling, HotSpots System, and a lot more.

Cellphones or cellular phones is now the most popular means of communication.  It allows you to keep in touch with your loved ones, your staff, and with the rest of the world anywhere you go. • Xbox 360 was released in 2005.  It was the first console with the ability to use wireless controllers out of the box.  Through Xbox Live  service, the console can connect to the service via internet through the built-in ethernet port or a wireless accessory.
• Nintendo Wii was released 2006.  The Wii does not use an internal hard-drive, instead, it uses a 512 MB of internal flash memory and includes support for removable SD card storage.  It has a completely redesigned controller which resembles a TV remote.  The controller detects motion and orientation with a high degree of precision.  Nintendo Wii also compatible with previous Nintendo consoles and can play all GameCube games.
• PlayStation 3 was also released in 2006.  It is the 3rd upgrade of the PlayStation which was released in mid-1990s.  The PS3 comes with a hard drive are and is ready to play Blu-Ray video discs and games out of the box.  The controllers connect to the console via Bluetooth and have tilt-sensing capabilities.  The PS3 has 3 versions that are available in the market: the 20GB HDD for around USD499 (discontinued in North America), the 60GB HDD for USD499 (formerly USD599), and the new 80GB HDD version that is sold for $599.
