I just bought a new desktop, one with a higher memory and specs than my laptop. Of course, it does not mean that I will leave my laptop behind and begin working on my laptop. I only intend to use it for my rather heavier graphic works and file storage. It is easier to work on graphics when you have a bigger monitor and perhaps, more “breathing space”. Yet, working in front of the desktop for long hours can be tiring so I needed to buy a keyboard drawer with an ergonomically designed computer table. I also bought a great computer chair…. I love the chair, if I must say. It is the type that makes you feel successful and comfortable when you sit on it.

Well, I guess I can also use my desktop for entertainment. Just pimp it up with really nice speakers, it can match the resolution of an LCD Television - serves as my home entertainment system right in my workspace. What can be more rewarding than watching a good movie after a long days work and eating some popcorns or your favorite ice cream (just don’t let the ice cream drip on your keyboard).

Our home is our place of safety and peace, a place where we can be with our family and relax after a day at work. We do almost everything at our home: eat, sleep, read books, watch movies or just chill out. If we’re doing almost everything at home and stay in it for along time, we want it to look beautiful inside and out.

Improving the look of our home is not hard. We can start with the furniture’s; there is a lot of Modern Furniture that we can choose from online. Aside from looking for Modern Furniture, we can also research on some tips and ideas on designs and other stuff.

A brighter kitchen space makes it a lot more fun and comfortable to cook or just prepare a meal.  To achieve this, use pale, light reflecting colors like whites, pastels and neutrals to make your kitchen look spacious.  You can also try using butter-yellow for your cabinets.  Open shelves and glass doors can be used to break up any solid panes and in displaying your favorite pieces.

In general, designing is all about highlighting the good stuff and downplaying the eye sores.  Everything also has to match - from floors, to cabinets and furniture to achieve that easy, cohesive style.

Combine something old and something new.  This gives your kitchen a rather unique look.  Stainless steel is also ideal since it can perfectly match other furniture.
